The original painting for this print was created "en plein air" (on location) in Oceanside, California.  Painting water is it's own unique challenge.  The surface is constantly moving and changing.  This creates a flickering effect that reflects the light of the sky, colors bouncing off adjacent boats, and the deep blues and greens of it's depths.
